When I was young, my dad's coworker gave me a figurine created out of a gum wrapper. I found myself trying to understand how he did it and if I could do it myself. 

 

This curiosity opened up a new world for me. I had never been satisfied with the toys I was supposed to be playing with, and this gave me the opportunity to make my own. Over time, these toys became more sculpture-like, and I started to realize I was good at it.

 

At Discovery, I want to show my experience and growth as an artist.
